Sometimes you need a pic to make you see how much you’ve changed.

One year ago today, Bob and I were out running errands and having lunch out, enjoying our time together.

In the past year, Bailey graduated and moved to college, Morgan started 10th grade and started working and Bob has remained cancer free.

It was within this time, that my own health issues would resurface and it would take almost 10 months to learn that all those CRAZY symptoms that I had been having were due to ‪#‎PCOS‬ (Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome) and insulin resistance. Add that to my Fibromyalgia and Rheumotoid arthritis and I was a hot mess.

I’ll admit that I’m not perfect and sometimes I have more than one ‘cheat’ meal a week. I like wine and cheese way too much to give them up completely. I believe in moderation and in counting my macros to make sure I stay on track. I know that my body is getting the proper nutrients it needs when I have one of my superfood shakes and I feel better when I can exercise 25-30 minutes a day.

I’m the healthiest I’ve ever been and I’m in a REALLY good place now, mentally and physically. I’m proof that you can make progress no matter what curveballs come your way.

There is HOPE.

If I can do it, you can too.

All you have to do is start. Start with one simple thing and add to it as you can. Before long, you’ll be looking back as I am in total awe of how far you’ve come along. <3
